Activities At Eagle Island Resort
We offer many year round activities. Lac des Roches is one of the best lakes in south central British Columbia. Located on top of the Nehalliston Plateau at 3,700 feet – paved Hwy 24 “The Fishing Highway” runs east to west connecting Hwy 97 “The Gold Rush Trail” enroute to Alaska and Hwy 5 “The Jasper Connector”. Hwy 24 connects over 100 pristine fishing lakes – many of them classified as walk-in or drive-to.

The lake has sunken islands, weed beds and a world renowned Mayfly hatch in early June. The west end has speed controls helping to keep this a great fly fishing and canoeing lake.
